Tugasan bagi subjek SSI3013 ICT in Science

Antara tugasan yang perlu dilengkapkan untuk subjek SSI3013 ICT in Science;

1. satu kit media interaktif mengenai topik yang telah dipilih

2. bahan latihan P&P yang dapat meningkatkan kefahaman pelajar tentang topik yang telah dipilih

3. forum bertajuk How can ICT aid in 21st century teaching and learning process?

4. analisis dokumen tentang sistem pelaksanaan Sekolah Pintar di Malaysia

Saya mulakan jurnal atas talian ini dengan tugasan yang pertama dijalankan, iaitu forum. Pelajar perlu memberi respons terhadap persoalan yang dilontarkan melalui  e-Forum dalam platform MyGuru 2 UPSI. Pelajar juga perlu respons terhadap pendapat atau jawapan yang dinyatakan oleh rakan-rakan sekurang-kurangnya sebanyak tiga kali.

How can ICT aid in 21st century teaching and learning process???

Teaching Implementation based on the Primary School Standard Curriculum (KSSR) and Secondary School Standard Curriculum (KSSM) is a benchmark of the effectiveness of the 21st  century education. It has been the intention of the Ministry of Education, with the transformation of education in Malaysian Education Development Plan (2013- 2025). One of the skills that needs to be mastered in 21st century teaching and learning process is information, media and technology skills. This shows that the usage of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in class is highly encouraged in classroom. Let’s see the benefits of ICT implementation in classroom and how it helps teaching and learning process, especially in classroom.

Firstly, using computer with internet connection helps students to construct idea from their learning session in class. Students may explore more about the topics that they learnt online. More information can be gathered and this will induces interest among the students and teacher may guide students to get the accurate information.

Next, using multimedia applications in classroom makes the teaching and learning session more exciting. Software such as Microsoft Powerpoint, Prezi and Powtoon make the content of learning more livelier. The graphics, audio and video used make students understand the subjects better.

In a nutshell, the usage of ICT in this 21st century learning and teaching is really helpful to induce constructivism among Gen Y students.

Tugasan yang seterusnya ialah Spreadsheet Excel. Maklumat yang diberi adalah dalam bentuk data bagi setiap subjek serta nama yang tidak disusun mengikut abjad. Oleh itu, pelajar diminta untuk menyusun nama mengikut abjad, memberi gred untuk setiap markah, mengira purata setiap markah, serta mengira purata setiap orang.
